Gran Noche de alegría para el público familiar de Cozumel al disfrutar la presentación del grupo Ome Taiko, talentosa agrupación de la ciudad de México en producir bellas e interesantes sonoridades con tambores japoneses. Niños, padres, abuelos, novios y amigos de diversos estractos sociales aplaudieron emocionados al término de cada pieza, reflejando así la existosa retroalimentación e interacción y unicidad que todo músico necesita para sentirse satisfecho con su ejecución.

Desde el principio los asistentes mostraban interés el tan solo al observar las peculiares formas de los ancestrales y tradicionales tambores japoneses, aunado al elegante vestuario de los artistas. Cada toque a la piel del tambor generaba un ambiente perfecto para la contemplación musical en el anfiteatro del parque. 

Al principio de la actividad se dió una importante lectura como breve introducción informativa sobre el origen y características de la historia del tambor japones, con la finalidad de que el público tuviera conocimiento de lo que estaba apunto de escuchar, pero el publico ya estaba ansioso, quería escuchar a la agrupación. se observaba el inicio de una exquisita exhibición musical, y así lo fué.

Entrevista a Nahoko Kobayashi I.,  David Méndez Rojas, Tenoch Méndez

 integrantes del grupo Ome Taiko:

1) Como sintió al público de Cozumel? 

Nahoko: Muy cálidos y muy respetuosos. 

Tenoch: Nos recibieron muy bien, estuvieron muy atentos y participativos. 

David: Muy emotivo y lo más bonito fue que se sentía como evento de tipo familiar, en donde se dieron cita para presenciar el tambor japonés por primera vez en Cozumel. Eso fue muy emotivo y conmovedor.

2) Volvería a presentarse en Cozumel y por qué?

Nahoko: Sí claro! Sería un honor! Por que la gente es muy amable y el lugar es hermoso.

Tenoch: Sí, con mucho gusto! es muy agradable el ambiente y la gente es muy amable. 

David: Por supuesto que sí! Encantado! Por que la cultura es una forma de que la gente se pueda dar cuenta que hay diversos géneros en cuanto a música, danza, etc. y creo que es muy valioso para la gente ver otros géneros musicales.  

3) Sintió que fue buena organización? 

Nahoko: Sí, muy buena! Y creo que eso nos ayudó bastante a poder concentrarnos en la presentación. 

Tenoch y David: Sí, todo estaba muy bien planeado conforme a lo establecido. 

David: Espero que las autoridades sigan apoyando este tipo de eventos culturales, por la importancia que aporta para la sociedad. Estoy muy agradecido. 

4) Faltó algo en la organización?

Nahoko, Tenoch y David: No.

Nuestro respeto por la organización tan buena que hubo, que se tomaron todo el tiempo para organizarlo. Llamando a los medios de comunicación. Sentimos que hubo mucha difusión, lo cual pudimos compartir nuestro arte con más gente. 

5) Qué piensas sobre la interactividad laboral y amistad con Sako? 

Opinión de todos es: La organización súper bien! Gracias a la señorita Sako que nos atendió con bandeja de plata. Nos trató de maravilla. Siempre al pendiente de qué nos hacía falta y procuró en todo momento que estuviéramos muy bien. Muy amable y súper amigable! Hizo que nos sintiéramos en casa y muy cómodos en todo momento.

También nuestro agradecimiento al señor José Guadalupe del museo, los conductores de autos pendientes en todo momento y con toda la disposición y actitud en ayudarnos con nuestras cosas.

¿Cómo llego a Cozumel a traer los tambores japoneses?

Nuestra organización Fundación Japón, es una organización del gobierno de Japón que promueve la cultura japonesa en todo el mundo, entonces aquí en México nosotros también hacemos muchas actividades para presentar cultura japonesa y  especialmente aquí en Cozumel. Porque yo conocí la museografa del Museo de Cozumel que se llama Sako, una museografa japonesa y a través de ella conocí la Fundación de Parques y Museos de Cozumel. A la fundación le interesa mucho invitar artistas japoneses, ya sea de una exposición, o de música, concierto o teatro, entonces yo le presente algunos grupos de teatro, música artistas. Y ahora como hay algunas condiciones como la época, la fecha y muchas cosas, queda muy bien la oportunidad de  realizar ahora un concierto de tambores japoneses que se llama Ome Taiko, que su líder Nahoko Kobayashi.

¿Aparte de ésta presentación podrías decir si tienes contemplado otra actividad de la Fundación Japón aquí en México en especial aquí en Cozumel?

Sí, ahora quiero presentar otra cultura japonesa y ya hemos hablado de traer un teatro de "Huantaro" pero tenemos que esperar la remodelación del Museo de Cozumel, entonces mientras esperamos la finalización de la remodelación pensamos traer como exposiciones de artistas japoneses, quizá un concierto de música japonesa.

Esta Isla espera con mucho entuciasmo la cultura japonesa, yo veo que es muy aficionada a la cultura japonesa, ¿ese es uno de los objetivos de la directora de la fundación Japón?

Sí, por supuesto cada vez que vengo aquí muchos locales tratan de usar las palabras japonesas, yo escucho, siento que las personas de Cozumel ellos quieren mucha cultura japonesa o lengua, idioma japones. Nuestra fundación Japón también tiene actividad de enseñanza de idioma japonés, es muy importante y entonces quizá podamos ofrecer alguna capacitación, curso del idioma japonés aquí en Cozumel.

¿Tal vez un intercambio de residencias? 

sí claro, claro tal vez.

¿Algo más que quiera decir?

Yo ya note que muchos personas,especialmente jóvenes aquí en Cozumel les interesa mucho estudiar japonés, conseguir maestros instituciones es difícil donde puedan estudiar  japonés, pero la Fundación Japón ofrecemos material on line que se  llama Minato se puede buscar por internet, aprender desde muy principiante hasta alto aprendizaje, todos son gratis.

La presentación del Grupo OME TAIKO en el anfiteatro del parque Quintana Roo el viernes 8 de febrero del 2019 en Cozumel fue gracias a la FUNDACIÓN DE PARQUES Y MUSEOS DE COZUMEL y JAPAN FOUNDATION y la subdirección de CULTURA DEL AYUNTAMIENTO DE COZUMEL. muchas Gracias a todos ellos por su valioso acierto de contribuir a la cultura con este tipo de actividades culturales para el ciudadano de la Isla de Cozumel.

Japanese drums   

Great night of joy for Cozumel's family audience as they enjoy the presentation of the group Ome Taiko, a talented group from Mexico City that produces beautiful and interesting sonorities with Japanese drums. Children, parents, grandparents, boyfriends and friends from diverse social backgrounds applauded emotionally at the end of each piece, reflecting the successful feedback and interaction and uniqueness that every musician needs to feel satisfied with their performance.

From the beginning, the audience showed interest just by observing the peculiar forms of the ancestral and traditional Japanese drums, together with the elegant costumes of the artists. Every touch of the drum generated a perfect atmosphere for musical contemplation in the amphitheater of the park. 

At the beginning of the activity an important reading was given as a brief informative introduction about the origin and characteristics of the history of the Japanese drum, with the purpose of letting the public know what they were about to hear, but the public was already anxious, they wanted to hear the group. The beginning of an exquisite musical exhibition was observed, and so it was.

Interview with Nahoko Kobayashi I., David Méndez Rojas, Tenoch Méndez

1) How did you feel the public of Cozumel? 

Nahoko: Very warm and very respectful. 

Tenoch: They received us very well, they were very attentive and participative. 

David: Very emotional and the most beautiful thing was that it felt like a family type event, where they came together to witness the Japanese drum for the first time in Cozumel. That was very emotional and moving.

2) Would you perform again in Cozumel and why?

Nahoko: Yes of course! It would be an honor! Because the people are very friendly and the place is beautiful.

Tenoch: Yes, with pleasure! The atmosphere is very nice and the people are very friendly. 

David: Of course! It's a pleasure! Because culture is a way for people to realize that there are different genres in terms of music, dance, etc. and I think it is very valuable for people to see other musical genres.  

3) Did you feel it was well organized? 

Nahoko: Yes, very good! And I think that helped us a lot to be able to concentrate on the presentation. 

Tenoch and David: Yes, everything was very well planned according to what was established. 

David: I hope that the authorities will continue to support this type of cultural event, because of the importance it has for society. I am very grateful. 

4) Was there anything missing in the organization?

Nahoko, Tenoch and David: No.

Our respect for the good organization that was there, that they took all the time to organize it. Calling the media. We felt that there was a lot of publicity, which allowed us to share our art with more people. 

5) What do you think about the work interaction and friendship with Sako? 

Everyone's opinion is: The organization is great! Thanks to Miss Sako who served us up on a silver platter. She treated us wonderfully. She was always aware of what we needed and tried to make sure we were doing very well. Very kind and super friendly! She made us feel at home and very comfortable at all times.

Also our thanks to Mr. José Guadalupe from the museum, the drivers of cars were always on top of us and with all the willingness and attitude to help us with our things.

How did you get to Cozumel to bring the Japanese drums?

Our organization Japan Foundation, is an organization of the government of Japan that promotes Japanese culture around the world, so here in Mexico we also do many activities to present Japanese culture and especially here in Cozumel. Because I met the museographer of the Museum of Cozumel called Sako, a Japanese museographer and through her I met the Foundation of Parks and Museums of Cozumel. The foundation is very interested in inviting Japanese artists, either from an exhibition, or from music, concert or theater, so I introduced her to some theater groups, music artists. And now as there are some conditions such as the time, date and many things, it is very well the opportunity to make now a concert of Japanese drums called Ome Taiko, which its leader Nahoko Kobayashi.

Apart from this presentation could you say if you have contemplated another activity of the Japan Foundation here in Mexico especially here in Cozumel?

Yes, now I want to present another Japanese culture and we have already talked about bringing a theater of "Huantaro" but we have to wait for the remodeling of the Museum of Cozumel, so while waiting for the completion of the remodeling we plan to bring as exhibitions of Japanese artists, perhaps a concert of Japanese music.

This island is waiting with much enthusiasm for Japanese culture, I see that it is very fond of Japanese culture, is that one of the objectives of the director of the Japan Foundation?

Yes, of course every time I come here many locals try to use Japanese words, I listen, I feel that the people of Cozumel they want a lot of Japanese culture or language, Japanese language. Our foundation Japan also has Japanese language teaching activity, it is very important and then maybe we can offer some training, Japanese language course here in Cozumel.

Maybe a residential exchange? 

yes of course, maybe.

Anything else you want to say?

I have noticed that many people, especially young people here in Cozumel, are very interested in studying Japanese. Getting a teacher in an institution where they can study Japanese is difficult, but the Japan Foundation offers online material called Minato that can be searched on the internet, learning from very beginner to high learning, all are free.

 The presentation of the OME TAIKO Group in the amphitheater of the Quintana Roo Park on Friday February 8th, 2019 in Cozumel was thanks to the COZUMEL PARKS AND MUSEUMS FOUNDATION and the JAPAN FOUNDATION and the CULTURE sub-directorate of the COZUMEL CITY COUNCIL.
