Un Femalien es una mujer que no pertenece pero ejerce todo lo que siente necesario para su desarrollo como ser de luz.                                                                                              Cari Barbachano  

Hoy 15 de enero de 2021 se inauguró la exposición "Femalien No. 7" de la pintora Cari Barbachano en el Museo de la Isla de Cozumel, agradable exhibición llena de colorido y formas entre ellas desnudos y rostros femeninos estilizados a la visión de la autora; "múltiples facetas que puede experimentar una persona".

Acontinuación breve entrevista que la autora ofreció Art News Cozumel:

 

-¿Que te motivo realizar esta obra que expones y porque decidiste presentarla en el museo se la isla de Cozumel?

 

-El museo de Cozumel siempre ha sido una importante instalación para mi, la cual siempre me ha ayudado a salir adelante.  Es un espacio increíble, profesional y artístico  

 

El motivo de la exposición es femalien No. 7 es una suma de dos años de trabajo, siendo mi séptima muestra de  pintura Femalien No. 7 es una exploración incesante a nuevos caminos, abarcando varias técnicas y sujetos, haciendo énfasis en las múltiples facetas que puede experimentar una persona en cierto tiempo determinado. Tras un año de pandemia, me conecte intensamente con la naturaleza y me  desconecte con la relación humana, intentando recrear, no lo que veo con mis ojos, si no el sentimiento que experimento al ver algo. Comparo la temporalidad de la naturaleza con la temporalidad de los sentimientos, siempre mutando y con un rumbo incierto. Femalien no. 7 es una colección de movimiento y cambio, en la búsqueda perpetua del habitat natural encuentro el habitat natural dentro de mi un silencio espléndido donde la inspiración siempre esta activa. Una femalien, es una mujer que no pertenece, pero ejerce todo lo que siente necesario para su desarrollo como ser de luz.    

-¿Fue de tu agrado la forma en que se presentó tu obra en el museo de la isla?

-Me gusto mucho como se organizo la exposición, creo que ha sido mi exposición favorita. Las luces, el ambiente, la gama de colores, la versatilidad y profesionalismo de la sala y del equipo del museo

-¿Te gustó la museografia realizada ? 

-Muchísimo, a veces cuando presentas obra variada se puede perder un poco el tema pero en este caso se logro resaltar cada etapa, emoción y técnica. Creando de mucha variedad un concepto fuerte y unificado.

Today January 15, 2021 was inaugurated the exhibition "Femalien No. 7" of the painter Cari Barbachano at the Museum of Cozumel Island, a pleasant exhibition full of color and forms including nudes and stylized female faces to the vision of the author; "multiple facets that a person can experience".

Following is a brief interview that the author offered Art News Cozumel:

 

-What motivated you to make this work that you are exhibiting and why did you decide to present it in the museum of the island of Cozumel?

 

-The museum of Cozumel has always been an important facility for me, which has always helped me to move forward.  It is an incredible, professional and artistic space.  

 

The motif of the exhibition is femalien No. 7 is a sum of two years of work, being my seventh exhibition of painting Femalien No. 7 is a relentless exploration to new paths, encompassing various techniques and subjects, emphasizing the many facets that a person can experience in a certain time. After a year of pandemic, I connect intensely with nature and disconnect with the human relationship, trying to recreate, not what I see with my eyes, but the feeling I experience when I see something. I compare the temporality of nature with the temporality of feelings, always mutating and with an uncertain course. Femalien no. 7 is a collection of movement and change, in the perpetual search for the natural habitat I find the natural habitat within me, a splendid silence where inspiration is always active. A femalien is a woman who does not belong, but exercises all that she feels necessary for her development as a being of light.    

-Was it to your liking the way your work was presented in the museum of the island?

-I really liked the way the exhibition was organized, I think it was my favorite exhibition. The lights, the atmosphere, the range of colors, the versatility and professionalism of the room and the museum team.

-Did you like the museography? 

-Very much, sometimes when you present a variety of works you can lose the theme a little bit, but in this case we managed to highlight each stage, emotion and technique. Creating from a lot of variety a strong and unified concept.
