Producciones M+M  crea teatro que cumple con su objetivo como lo fue la obra "TOC  TOC" del dramaturgo francés *Laurent Baffie. en esta ocasión la dirección de la obra fue de Carlos Larrea con la adaptación de Manuel Alcocer, este último con una acertada visión para mostrar obras que estén al gusto de la personalidad de la comunidad Cozumeleña.

Los actores de TOC TOC fueron Manuel Alcocer, Karely Zapata, Guillermo Berlín, Daniela Larragoti, Esmeralda Balam, Kevin Arango, Georgina Ortega, Wilberth Huchim y  Lupita Laporta, que con una notoria emotividad y entrega  realizaron  sus personajes, ellos lograron generaron una fluidez de risa en el público que llenó con su asistencia  la sala del teatro. Los asistentes muy notoriamente quedaron  satisfechos de haber apreciado tan cómica pero reflexiva puesta en escena.   Muchas felicidades a todo los involucrados en esta obra  y esperando la próxima producción de M+M. y en especial una felicitación a Manuel por su pasión por el bello arte teatral que ha y sigue impulsando aquí en la Isla de Cozumel.   

Los Toc (transtórno obsesivo compulsivo) presentados en esta obra fueron el Síndrome de Tourette, nosofobia, aritmomanía, orden, incapacidad de pisar líneas, rituales de limpieza, palilalia, ecolalia, verificación.

* Laurent Baffie es un autor francés, director de cortometrajes y humorista. Baffie es famoso por sus divertidas cámaras ocultas, su sentido de la réplica, su humor mordaz y su cultura musical y animal.

Con la comedia "TOC TOC", el dramaturgo francés Laurent Baffie abordó un tema difícil de tomar a broma: los trastornos obsesivos compulsivos. A pesar de su incorrección política, en su estreno original, en el Théâtre du Palais Royal de París, la obra no generó polémica. Más bien se la consideró una ayuda para los aquejados por este trastorno. "Hay grupos de personas con TOC que vinieron a verme con médicos. Algunos doctores me comentaron que, de manera empírica, yo había reproducido su trabajo", recuerda Baffie en esta entrevista exclusiva.

— Desde su estreno, la obra ha sido un éxito internacional. ¿Cómo lo explica?

-No tengo manera de explicar el éxito, solo lo observo. Me doy cuenta de que los TOC son un asunto universal, que toca a la gente en el mundo entero. Lo que me sorprende es ver hasta qué punto la gente está preocupada por estos trastornos.

-¿Qué matices encuentra en los montajes de los diferentes países? 

-No he tenido la oportunidad de ver la versión peruana. Sin embargo, fui a ver "TOC TOC" en Madrid. Observé diferencias en la interpretación de los actores y también en la puesta en escena. Hay cosas que elogié, otras que me gustaron menos, pero cuando se confía a otros una adaptación y una puesta en escena, se tiene que dejar hacer y tener confianza.

— ¿Hay tras su comedia un dolor personal?

Sí , lo hay. Tuve la idea de esta obra porque sufro de TOC desde mi infancia, cuando aún no había nombre para eso.  Se les llamaba angustias, manías, ritos. La investigación médica no había identificado el problema. Ahora observo que mis hijos tienen TOC, así como la mayoría de mis amigos. Poco a poco me di cuenta de que prácticamente todo el mundo los tenía.

— Se dice que el Trastorno Obsesivo Compulsivo no es una enfermedad, sino un síntoma de la angustia de vivir. ¿La angustia es el signo de los tiempos? 

No, no es un signo de nuestros tiempos porque ya antes existían. Desde el punto de vista de la investigación médica, los médicos dicen que los TOC son una enfermedad cuando estos toman más de una hora de nuestro tiempo diario. ¡Y hay gente que se pasa el día frotándose la espalda contra la pared! Hay gente que ya no tiene vida, gente para la cual estos síntomas son un infierno. Hoy los TOC se curan, hay terapias cognitivas para ello. Sin embargo, algunos son más resistentes. Por ejemplo, en cuanto al síndrome Gilles de la Tourette (asociado con la exclamación de palabras obscenas), no hay tratamiento.

— ¿Usted sufre de algún trastorno confesable?  

Tengo todos los TOC que describo en la obra. Casi todos. Tengo el TOC numérico [aritmomanía], cuento todo, verifico bastante, me lavo las manos a menudo, sufro de un poco de nosofobia [fobia a las enfermedades infecciosas], sufro del síndrome Gilles de la Tourette e hice de él mi trabajo: ¡me pagan por decir lisuras en la televisión francesa! No sufro ni de palilalia [repetición compulsiva de una frase o palabra] ni de ecolalia [repetición compulsiva de palabras ajenas], pero que de alguna forma sufro de ellos, ¡sufro de ellos!

Producciones M+M creates theater that fulfills its objective as was the play "TOC TOC" by French playwright *Laurent Baffie. On this occasion the direction of the play was by Carlos Larrea with the adaptation of Manuel Alcocer, the latter with a successful vision to show plays that are to the taste of the personality of the Cozumel community. 

The actors of TOC TOC were Manuel Alcocer, Karely Zapata, Guillermo Berlín, Daniela Larragoti, Esmeralda Balam, Kevin Arango, Georgina Ortega, Wilberth Huchim and Lupita Laporta, who performed their characters with a notorious emotion and dedication, they managed to generate a flow of laughter in the audience that filled the theater hall with their attendance. The attendees were notoriously satisfied to have appreciated such a comical but thoughtful staging.   Many congratulations to all involved in this play and looking forward to the next production of M+M. and especially congratulations to Manuel for his passion for the beautiful art of theater that he has and continues to promote here on the island of Cozumel.   

The Toc (obsessive compulsive disorder) presented in this play were Tourette's Syndrome, nosophobia, arithmomania, order, inability to step on lines, cleaning rituals, palilalia, echolalia, verification.

* Laurent Baffie is a French author, short film director and humorist. Baffie is famous for his funny hidden cameras, his sense of repartee, his biting humor and his musical and animal culture.

With the comedy "TOC TOC", French playwright Laurent Baffie tackled a difficult subject to make fun of: obsessive-compulsive disorders. Despite its political incorrectness, at its original premiere at the Théâtre du Palais Royal in Paris, the play did not generate controversy. Rather, it was seen as a help for those afflicted with the disorder. "There are groups of people with OCD who came to see me with doctors. Some doctors commented to me that, empirically, I had reproduced their work," Baffie recalls in this exclusive interview.

- Since its premiere, the play has been an international success. How do you explain it?

-I have no way of explaining the success, I just observe it. I realize that OCD is a universal issue, that it touches people all over the world. What surprises me is to see the extent to which people are concerned about these disorders.

-What nuances do you find in the stagings in different countries? 

-I have not had the opportunity to see the Peruvian version. However, I went to see "TOC TOC" in Madrid. I observed differences in the interpretation of the actors and also in the staging. There are things that I praised, others that I liked less, but when you entrust an adaptation and staging to others, you have to let them do it and have confidence.

- Is there a personal pain behind your comedy?

Yes, there is. I had the idea for this play because I suffer from OCD since my childhood, when there was still no name for it.  They were called anxieties, manias, rituals. Medical research had not identified the problem. Now I notice that my children have OCD, as do most of my friends. Gradually I realized that practically everyone had them.

- It is said that Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is not a disease, but a symptom of the anguish of living. Is anguish the sign of the times? 

No, it is not a sign of our times because it existed before. From the point of view of medical research, doctors say that OCD is a disease when it takes more than one hour of our daily time. And there are people who spend the day rubbing their backs against the wall! There are people who have no life anymore, people for whom these symptoms are hell. Today OCD can be cured, there are cognitive therapies for it. However, some are more resistant. For example, as for Gilles de la Tourette syndrome (associated with exclaiming obscene words), there is no treatment.

- Do you suffer from any confessable disorder?  

-I have all the OCDs I describe in the book. Almost all of them. I have numerical OCD [arithmomania], I count everything, I check a lot, I wash my hands often, I suffer from a bit of nosophobia [phobia of infectious diseases], I suffer from Gilles de la Tourette syndrome and I made it my job: they pay me to say lisuras on French television! I suffer neither from palilalia [compulsive repetition of a phrase or word] nor from echolalia [compulsive repetition of other people's words], but somehow I suffer from them, I suffer from them!
