"Contemplar la naturaleza es la fuente de mi creación. La vida secreta de los jardines refleja en paralelo la vida humana, su destino, los bosques, los árboles y las flores. La naturaleza es una alquimista: la clorofila extrae moléculas de CO2 y las combina con moléculas de agua absorbidas por las raíces para hacer florecer la vida. ¿No es eso arte? Esta alquimia también funciona en el papel cuando vierto mis tintas de colores que reaccionan de forma tan diferente entre sí...hago mías estas manchas que se mezclan con el agua, mi pincel se desliza entre estas formas serpenteantes y me revela sus historias, les dibujo una trayectoria y a momentos las detengo. Sobre este paisaje, creo figuras que vienen a habitar un nuevo universo.

Hacemos este viaje sin prisas, agradeciendo todo lo que sucede. Las figuras surgen de la acción sobre el papel. Mis cuadros reflejan todos los pequeños milagros capturados in situ. A veces me llevo estos fenómenos al estudio, donde puedo llevarlos aún más adentro en un nuevo mundo de acrílico y acuarela. A veces los despliego en obras tridimensionales.

Siempre estamos en diálogo.

- "¿Sigues teniendo ganas de pintar? ", me preguntó una vez un buen amigo, mientras estábamos en algún lugar sobre el mar Mediterráneo, en un jardín bañado por el sol y lleno de cactus. Nos encontrábamos en la escarpada ribera. Nuestros ojos, encantados por la belleza del profundo azul ultramar, asombrosamente claro y púrpura, del suave cobalto y transparente esmeralda, se iban acostumbrando lentamente a la silueta de la isla en el horizonte, frente a la sombra de los eucaliptos, danzaban unos agaves gigantes, las flores blancas de la alcaparra espigada florecían en las ramitas interminablemente largas y los minúsculos flequillos del pimentero verde nos hacían cosquillas en los hombros.

- "Ah, el pimentero verde tiene follaje de mimosa...", se maravilló mi amigo.

- "¿Y cuál elegirías como segunda profesión? pregunté".

- ¡Me gustaría ser jardinero! "

- "¡Y a mí también! "

A la luz del sol, ante nuestros asombrados ojos, estas innumerables estructuras brillaban con tiernos colores. Dos ángeles revoloteaban por el aire... El murmullo de sus alas nos despertó.

- "¡Pero si es lo mismo! exclamamos inmediatamente.

- "¡Cada cuadrado de lienzo blanco es también un jardín! "

Estar en una isla donde lleva el nombre de una mujer maya, una diosa de los ancestros que genera vida en todas sus formas y que lo brinda para toda persona que dedique tiempo para su contemplaciòn y conexiòn es absolutamente interesante y enriquecedor, sobre todo en el acontecer de los creadores de arte, una fuente inagotable de inspiraciòn profunda que Ixchel en su ambiente de belleza atrae como un hermosa fuerza magnètica a artistas a exhibir sus trabajos referentes a temàticas de la naturaleza, ya sea de la misma isla o de otras regiones del orbe La Madre Tierra.

Jana Trnka es un ejemplo de lo antes comentado; observaciòn e nteracciòn impecable con la dinàmica de la vida; sus creaturas en su amplia dimensionalidad de espacios habitables, sus propios y sui gèneris hàbitos de cotidianidad, extensa gama de texturas y colores de consciencias en sus diàlogos, que siempre esta abierto a las personalidades sensibles y con amor desinteresado, y que tienen la intensiòn ya resuelta de hacerlo permanente como un registro personal o colectivo. Lo creativo de belleza, la infinita biblioteca del cosmos de vida-naturaleza-jardìn. la generaciòn de todo.

"Contemplating nature is the source of my creation. The secret life of gardens reflects in parallel human life, its destiny, forests, trees and flowers. Nature is an alchemist: chlorophyll extracts CO2 molecules and combines them with water molecules absorbed by roots to make life flourish. Isn't that art? This alchemy also works on paper when I pour my colored inks that react so differently from each other...I make these stains that mix with water my own, my brush glides among these meandering forms and reveals their stories to me, I draw a trajectory for them and at times I stop them. On this landscape, I create figures that come to inhabit a new universe.

We make this journey unhurriedly, grateful for everything that happens. The figures emerge from the action on paper. My paintings reflect all the little miracles captured in situ. Sometimes I take these phenomena back to the studio, where I can bring them even deeper into a new world of acrylic and watercolor. Sometimes I display them in three-dimensional works.

We are always in dialogue.

Tornasol Radiance

- "Do you still feel like painting? ", a good friend once asked me, while we were somewhere above the Mediterranean Sea, in a sun-drenched garden full of cacti. We were standing on the steep shore. Our eyes, enchanted by the beauty of the deep ultramarine blue, amazingly clear and purple, of the soft cobalt and transparent emerald, were slowly getting used to the silhouette of the island on the horizon, in front of the shadow of the eucalyptus trees, giant agaves danced, the white flowers of the spiky caper bloomed on the endlessly long twigs and the tiny bangs of the green pepper tree tickled our shoulders.

- "Ah, the green pepper tree has mimosa foliage..." my friend marveled.

- "And what would you choose as a second profession?" I asked.

- I'd like to be a gardener! "

- "And me too! "

In the sunlight, before our astonished eyes, these innumerable structures shone with tender colors. Two angels were fluttering through the air.... The murmur of their wings woke us up.

- "But it's the same!" we exclaimed immediately.

- "Every square of white canvas is also a garden! "
