A continuación la entrevista que amablemente concedió Natacha Ruth a Art News Cozumel.
-¿Nos puedes platicar sobre tu trayectoria como pintora?
-Naci en Uruguay en 1972,
diseñadora textil de profesión, graduada en 1995.
Además del trabajo en diseño textil, incursionado en la decoración de interiores, he participado en diversos talleres de arte.
Mi obra, está caracterizada por una fusión entre técnica y el profundo vínculo con el arte, he creado cientos de productos que hoy se comercializan en distintos lugares del mundo.
He sido parte de numerosas exposiciones colectivas y mis obras hoy forman parte de colecciones privadas en Uruguay, Argentina y México.
En 2019, elegí a Quintana Roo, específicamente a Playa del Carmen, donde resido intermitentemente junto a mi país Uruguay.
Con experiencia y trayectoria reconocida, estoy en el camino del arte siempre aprendiendo y desarrollando conceptos de expresionismo abstracto sin composición predefinida.
Mis trazos se entrelazan creando una maraña densa en ocasiones.
Al fusionar moda y arte, busco todo el tiempo transmitir emociones y sentimientos. Mi objetivo es sensibilizar al espectador, provocando emociones y sensaciones a través de cada obras.
- ¿Cómo fue que llegaste al museo para exponer?
-Es un lugar que había visitado en distintas instancias. Un amigo fotógrafo me dijo hable con Satoko Kitamura. Así hice. Fui, me presente, le conté sobre mi obra....
ella es una divina persona.... logramos una fecha.

- ¿Nos puedes compartir sobre tu producción Los colores del alma que expones en el museo de la isla?
Estas 10 obras son turbulencia entre Él y yo.... vínculo de una tía y un sobrino que comparten encuentros y desencuentro Todo lo que compartimos va más allá de la sangre. El es mi cómplice, mi amigo y mi fuente de inspiración.
A partir de esa Historia se desarrolla estos "los COLORES del ALMA"
El arte abstracto es mi forma de expresión artística en la que prevalece una idea por sobre la figuración de la realidad.
No existe un arte abstracto si no nace una idea. hay que comenzar siempre con algo. Después quitar todas las huellas de realidad

El color! y no colores... como en muchas de estas obras, es un poder que influye directamente en el alma de quien logra verlas.
- ¿Cómo te sentiste en la noche inaugural?
-Realmente Feliz con el resultado ...
Rodeada de Gente linda, Contenida y mimada por cada miembro del museo.
- ¿Qué te pareció la museografía que realizó Sako?
¡EXCELENTE! absolutamente en todos los detalles ella. Agradecida absolutamente
- ¿Algo más que quieras decirnos?
Nuevamente Agradecer a todos y cada uno en el museo. A todos los que se trasladaron al museo para estar ahí.

The following is the interview that Natacha Ruth kindly granted to Art News Cozumel.
-Can you tell us about your career as a painter?
-I was born in Uruguay in 1972,
Textile designer by profession, graduated in 1995.
Besides working in textile design, I have also worked in interior decoration and have participated in several art workshops.
My work is characterized by a fusion between technique and the deep link with art, I have created hundreds of products that today are marketed in different parts of the world.
I have been part of numerous group exhibitions and my works are now part of private collections in Uruguay, Argentina and Mexico.
In 2019, I chose Quintana Roo, specifically Playa del Carmen, where I reside intermittently next to my country Uruguay.
With experience and recognized trajectory, I am on the path of art always learning and developing concepts of abstract expressionism without predefined composition.
My strokes intertwine creating a dense tangle at times.
By merging fashion and art, I seek all the time to convey emotions and feelings. My goal is to sensitize the viewer, provoking emotions and sensations through each work.
- How did you come to the museum to exhibit?
-It is a place that I had visited in different instances. A photographer friend told me to talk to Satoko Kitamura. So I did. I went, introduced myself, told her about my work.....
she is a divine person.... we got a date.

- Can you share with us about your production The colors of the soul that you exhibit in the museum of the island?
