Adriana Delfín muestra un trabajo de registro, como si fueran instantáneas del universo street art de las zonas donde a interactuado u otros, . Pinturas que emanan color libre y fresco de espacios y objetos. Una sensación, una forma de vida, un fenómeno de la realidad efímera ó permanente, en otras palabras un núcleo de creatividad al espacio sensitivo que comulgan todos; La calle. -Coméntanos sobre alguna situación en el proceso que tuviste en tu obran

-Pues fue un proceso bastante largo porque comenzó desde finales del 2022, entonces fue un proceso que se fue intercalando entre muchos otros proyectos, creo que fue como un proyecto que me hacía aterrizar, no sé, cada cuadro fue diferente, muy, muy diferente, me traía muchos recuerdos

- ¿Y por qué pequeño formato?

- Me gusta mucho el contraste, pintar en grande o así chiquitito,

-¿Cuál de los dos te agrada más?

-Pues las dos, el formato grande me gusta porque utiliza todo mi cuerpo, se me hace como un arte que es mucho más incluyente, que está más a la disposición de cualquier persona, y se me hace como mucho más comunitario, más colectivo.

-Entonces, ¿te consideras una creadora de arte urbano, es esto tu especialidad?

-Se puede decir. Pues yo hago arte visual, en realidad hago arte urbano, pero también hago dibujo y arte objeto.

-¿Pero te inclinas más hacia el arte urbano?.

-Me gusta, sí, porque vengo de la ciudad, es algo que me llama mucho.

-¿Y tú crees que hay una problemática en cuanto a lo efímero del urbano, y también lo que es lo más difícil y complicado; es que hay muchas personas que hacen el grafiti y dicen que son muralistas, pero realmente no lo son, desprecian el movimiento?

-En realidad el arte urbano, el street art (arte callejero), creo que abarca muchos diferentes tipos de arte, están los muralistas, están los grafiteros, que eso tiene más que ver con las letras, con la apropiación de espacios, es como una forma de reflexión y el otro que es el contestario, el agresivo y eso a veces la gente no entiende que son dos vertientes. Son diferentes, muralistas y grafiteros.

Un mural es algo que te está comunicando algo, tiene una preparación diferente, pero sin embargo los dos interactúan. Están en el mundo de la calle.

Lo que me gusta del arte urbano, que es incluyente o sea cualquier persona tiene un lugar en la calle, de cualquier sociedad, de cualquier raza, religión. Tú puedes ir y expresarte ahí si tú quieres.

.¿Tú eres egresada de una universidad de Arte, no? ¿De tu generación, cuántas personas se dedican al arte urbano que tú te acuerdes?

-Uy, que yo me acuerde. ¿Cuántas? No sé, pero sí hay bastantes.

¿Tú crees que las nuevas generaciones de los egresados de las Universidades de Arte se inclinan también mucho hacia el arte urbano?

- Ahorita, sí, en Ciudad de México hay muchos muralistas que salen del INBA o de la Escuela de Artes, incluso de la Esmeralda. Ahora como que se está viendo un auge. También porque acaba de ser los 100 años de muralismo en México. Entonces está ese impulso.

-¿Cúales son tus artistas favoritos del arte urbano?

-Pues mira, hay uno que se llama Vhils que es portugués. èl me encanta. él no pinta. graba en la pared y a veces también hace retratos usando dinamita. Como que tiene una onda ahí muy buena. Bansky, me encanta también es uno de los más auténticos. Porque todo lo que hace tiene un porqué, ¿no? No es como que solo salga a hacer cosas

-¿Qué otro personaje?

-Pues mira, de aquí de México, creo que me gusta mucho Smith. Smith The One,

pues hay varios.

-Por último, ¿que te parecio el trabajo de la museografa Sako?

-Muy profesional y muy amable.

-¿Qué más quieres decir?

-Pues muchas gracias por recibirme en el museo. Por todo, por todo. Muchas gracias.

-Tell us about a situation in the process that you had in your work

-Well, it was a fairly long process because it started at the end of 2022, so it was a process that was interspersed between many other projects, I think it was like a project that made me land, I don't know, each painting was different, very, very different, it brought back many memories

-And why small format?

-I really like the contrast, painting big or small,

-Which of the two do you like the most?

-Well, both, I like the large format because it uses my whole body, it seems to me like an art that is much more inclusive, that is more available to anyone, and it seems to me like much more communal, more collective.

-So, do you consider yourself an urban art creator, is this your specialty?

-You can say. Well, I do visual art, I actually do urban art, but I also do drawing and object art.

-But do you lean more towards urban art?

-I like it, yes, because I come from the city, it's something that really appeals to me.

-And do you think there is a problem regarding the ephemeral nature of urban art, and also what is the most difficult and complicated; is that there are many people who do graffiti and say they are muralists, but really they are not, they despise the movement?

A mural is something that communicates something to you, it has a different preparation, but both interact. They are in the world of the street.

What I like about urban art is that it is inclusive, that is, anyone has a place in the street, from any society, from any race, religion. You can go and express yourself there if you want.

.You graduated from an art university, right? From your generation, how many people do urban art that you remember?

-Oh, as far as I can remember. How many? I don't know, but there are quite a few.

Do you think that the new generations of graduates from art universities are also inclined towards urban art?

-Right now, yes, in Mexico City there are many muralists who come from the INBA or the School of Arts, even from the Esmeralda. Now it seems that there is a boom. Also because it has just been 100 years of muralism in Mexico. So there is that impulse.

-Lastly, who are your favorite urban art artists?

-Well, look, there is one called Vhils who is Portuguese. I love him. He doesn't paint. He engraves on the wall and sometimes he also makes portraits using dynamite. He has a very good vibe there. Bansky, I also love him, he is one of the most authentic. Because everything he does has a reason, right? It's not like I just go out to do things

-What other character?
