Peter Sharp nos comenta sobre su libro Eh...rumpelstiltskin.
Crecí rodeado de libros, incluidos cuentos de hadas. Dos cuentos de hadas memorables con hermosas ilustraciones fueron Rumpelstiltskin y Heckedy Peg. Durante los momentos difíciles de mi pasado, me perdía en los libros. En un período de tiempo particularmente difícil en 2013 me perdí escribiendo un libro. Usé estos dos cuentos de hadas en mi escritura para crear un cuento de hadas semiautobiográfico que incluye historias de mi vida y parte de la poesía que estaba escribiendo en ese momento. La obra original era aún más extraña si eso es creíble, tenía un índice que contenía cada palabra del libro. Escribir el libro fue muy terapéutico para mí con respecto al procesamiento de varios eventos dolorosos. El año pasado empecé a traducirlo al español con la ayuda de amigos. Este año, 13 años después de que se escribiera, ahora hay una traducción al español y ayer mismo formateé y reelancé una versión original revisada. Es un libro muy extraño, pero lo sostendo como buen arte. Tendré copias de ambos um.. por rumpelstiltskin y eh.. por rumpelstiltskin a la venta a mediados de noviembre por unos 200 pesos.

Se recomienda leer la sección "Acerca de" en el menú del mapa y estar al pendiente del contenido tanto del botón de noticias "n" como del botón "o" ¡Oh! para instrucciones y noticias actuales sobre las distintas funciones.
Guarda el enlace en tu pantalla de inicio: Copia o escríbelo en un navegador > Presiona "…" > Presiona "Compartir" > Presiona "Ver más" > Presiona "Guardar en pantalla de inicio"
Colocar un pin: Asegúrate de estar en "Mi Mapa" > Toca cualquier lugar del mapa > Elige una categoría de pin > Si quieres: escribe un título y descripción, sube una foto o ajusta las coordenadas > Presiona "Save Pin"
Agregar un pin desde cualquier otro mapa: Toca el pin para abrirlo > Presiona "Add to my map". El pin ahora estará en tu mapa y podrás editar su contenido.
Borrar o editar un pin: Toca el pin para abrirlo > Presiona "Edit" o "Delete Pin". Solo puedes hacerlo en "Mi Mapa". Después de crear un pin, si presionas "Edit" puedes agregar horarios del negocio.
Abrir pines: El recuadro en la parte superior derecha es una llave, pero también contiene los índices de pines. > Toca cualquier categoría para abrir su contenido > Presiona cualquier título de pin para abrirlo. / También puedes tocar y abrir los pines en cualquier mapa. Si haces zoom con pellizco sobre cualquier pin lo suficientemente cerca, este crecerá 3 veces y revelará su título. Así es más fácil presionarlo y abrirlo.
Agregar enlaces a otros pines y usuarios: Escribe en los detalles del pin @cualquiernombredeusuario o [@cualquier título de pin] y, al guardar, se creará un enlace a ese usuario o pin.
Cambiar tu nombre a cualquier idioma: Toca el pequeño ícono de lápiz junto a "Mi Mapa" en el menú del mapa > Escribe o copia y pega cualquier idioma o emoji en el recuadro superior > Haz lo mismo en el recuadro inferior para un subtexto, o déjalo en blanco si prefieres > Presiona Save > Toca la x para cerrar la ventana.
Encontrar un lugar para comer: Abre el índice azul de pines "Comida". Todos los restaurantes que están abiertos actualmente tendrán borde verde y estarán arriba de la lista en orden alfabético. Todos los restaurantes cerrados actualmente estarán al final de la lista en orden alfabético. Si alguna información es incorrecta, coloca un pin y escribe una nota.
Encontrar la fase actual de la luna: Toca el botón "l" de luna y se revelará un hermoso gif de la luna. También se muestran las ubicaciones precisas del sol y la luna en altitud y azimut, así como el porcentaje iluminado de la luna > Presiona "esta noche" y el gif se detendrá para mostrar la fase actual de la luna.
Medir cualquier distancia: Toca el botón "m" de medir. Una silueta de una mano llenará la pantalla > Haz zoom con pellizco y desplaza el mapa para colocar los dos puntos que quieres medir bajo los dos puntos blancos. Toca uno de los dos puntos blancos para fijarlo a su ubicación. También puedes ingresar coordenadas para cualquiera de los dos puntos si buscas mediciones exactas.
Galería del Pueblo: Abre el índice morado de pines "Arte" > Abre el pin "Museo de Cozumel" > Presiona "Go to Pin" > Presiona el botón blanco que aparece.
Cada mapa tiene su propio museo que puedes llenar de arte. Por favor pide permiso al artista o usa arte de dominio público.
Mueve un dedo en el lado izquierdo de la pantalla para caminar y mueve un dedo en el lado derecho de la pantalla para mirar alrededor. Toca una obra de arte para enfocarte en ella. Desplázate o haz zoom hacia dentro o hacia fuera tanto como quieras.
Toca la tarjeta del título para revelar sus detalles y opciones. Puedes agregar arte de cualquier otro museo a tu propio museo a través de estas opciones reveladas en la tarjeta del título. Se te mostrará un plano de plantilla para que elijas dónde en tu museo te gustaría colocar la obra.
Solo en la Galería del Pueblo, puedes elegir revelar tu presencia y tu nombre presionando el texto morado "aparecer" y "nombre". Entonces podrás verte a ti mismo como un orbe morado en el espejo, y otros usuarios en el museo podrán verte siempre y cuando no estés obstruyendo una obra de arte.
Toca la pared para dejar de enfocarte en una obra de arte y seguir caminando. Regresa al mapa en cualquier momento presionando el botón blanco en la parte superior derecha.
Ir al espacio: Abre el pin morado "Arte" > Abre el pin "Planetario de Cozumel Cha'an Ka'an" > Presiona "Go to Pin" > Presiona el botón blanco que aparece.
Vuela alrededor haciendo zoom con pellizco y gira deslizando un dedo. Elige entre la Tierra, la Luna o ambos como el centro del zoom y el punto de rotación. Presiona el botón "d" para ver la línea de visión desde Cozumel hacia el sol, la luna y los planetas. Esto también mostrará sus distancias y ubicaciones exactas.
Presiona el punto rojo en la Tierra sobre la ubicación de Cozumel. Ahora estarás como si estuvieras en la superficie de la Tierra, con la misma vista de las estrellas que se tiene desde Cozumel. Presiona la "d" de nuevo y verás los nombres y distancias de la luna y los planetas, así como de cientos de estrellas. Toca el cohete para regresar al espacio o regresa al mapa en cualquier momento.
Máquina de batería de 8 pistas y secuenciador de patrones: Abre el índice morado de pines "Arte" > Abre el pin "Casa de Música Jubal 421 Music" > Presiona "Go to Pin" > Presiona el botón blanco que aparece.
Presiona el botón "o" para más información sobre la máquina de beats.
Visitar la biblioteca virtual de playa: Abre el índice blanco de pines "Ayuda" > Abre el pin "libros" > Presiona "Go to Pin" > Presiona el botón blanco que aparece.
Puede tardar un momento en cargar y puede ser importante tener buena conexión de WiFi o internet. Esta función sigue funcionando en cualquier lugar, pero si de verdad quieres leer y estudiar, es mejor usarla en una tablet o computadora. Lee cualquier libro del estante, usa la computadora de playa y toma notas. Tus notas y tu progreso de lectura se guardarán.
Presiona "+" para crear una nueva nota. La primera línea de cualquier nota se convertirá en su título. Escribe @cualquierpalabra en tus notas. Si esa palabra coincide con el título de alguna de tus notas, se creará un enlace a esa nota.
Solicitar libros para el librero: Enciende la computadora de playa tocándola > Presiona el emoji de la pila de libros > explora los enlaces proporcionados de bases de datos de libros de dominio público y encuentra cualquier cosa que quieras leer o estudiar. Envía un correo al desarrollador o encuentra a flower en pingPong para solicitar el libro.
Chatear en pingPong: Enciende la computadora de playa tocándola > desplázate hacia abajo y presiona el enlace azul "pingPong" > Regístrate eligiendo un nombre de usuario y contraseña > Si quieres, envía una solicitud a "flower". Solo podrás chatear si ambas partes están en línea, lo que lo convierte en una experiencia de chat sana y cómoda.
Función de ubicación / direcciones: Toca el botón de flecha arriba de los botones lmnop > Activa el interruptor de la parte inferior derecha > cierra la página de garantía. Ahora tendrás un marcador apuntando a tu ubicación en el mapa. Presiona cualquier pin que quieras como destino > Presiona "Marcar como destino". El marcador de ubicación ahora apuntará hacia ese pin y mostrará su distancia mientras te desplazas. Fue diseñado para fomentar la exploración, así que es más útil si vas caminando o en bicicleta.
Trazar / Grabar una ruta: Presiona el botón de flecha > activa la función de ubicación > Presiona el pequeño ícono de corredor > Presiona el botón verde "Trazar" para trazar un recorrido tocando el mapa para colocar pines numerados color naranja > Presiona "Terminar" / Presiona el botón rojo "Grabar" para grabar una ruta con tu movimiento > Presiona "End".
Puedes titular tus rutas presionando el pequeño lápiz. Puedes compartir tus rutas con la comunidad marcando la casilla para hacerlo. Si marcas junto a una ruta y luego presionas "Grabar" para grabar, el marcador de ubicación apuntará hacia cada punto de la ruta y mostrará su distancia. Marca junto a dos o más rutas y se mostrará la distancia total y la velocidad promedio de las rutas seleccionadas.

eating sticks we call em.. popular in the orient.. she went to retrieve the bowl from the tree.. and i was left looking down into the basin where the water splashed the sticks.. the sticks were in a mountain formation.. with one off to the side.. i watched the ultraviolet juices bleed in the splashing water.. the mountain was a volcano and i was thinking.. how the bowl was on the tree.. an hour down the way.. and i chuckled to the wash basin.. i cleaned the sticks and found her conveniently contemplating the skies in front of our collection of leaves.. i brought her down suddenly and she screeched.. gently and she cooed.. as i tickled her she gave me the laughter.. it began to rain pitter pat around us and i knew she was feeling well.. i knew she tricked me into washing the sticks and a roll in the leaves.. i knew she arranged for the rain to fall there..

It is recommended to read the “Acerca de” section in the map menu and to keep an eye on the contents of both the "n" news button and the "o" Oh! Button for current instructions and news about the various features.

Drop a Pin: Make sure you are on "Mi Mapa" > Tap anywhere on the map > Choose a Pin category > If you want to: write a title and description, upload a photo or adjust the coordinates > Press "Save Pin"
Add a Pin from any other map: Tap the pin to open it > Press "Add to my map". The pin will now be on your map and you may edit its contents.
Delete or Edit a pin: Tap the pin to open it > Press "Edit" or "Delete Pin". You may only do so on "Mi Mapa". After a pin is created and you press "Edit" you can add business hours.
Opening Pins: The box in the top right is a key but also contains the Pin Indexes. > Tap any category to open its contents > Press any pin title to open it./ You can also tap open the pins on any map. If you pinch zoom to any pin close enough it will grow 3x and reveal its title. It is then easier to press and open.
Add links to other pins and users: Type in the pin details @anyusername or [@any pin title] and when you save it will create a link to that user or pin.
Change your name to any language: Tap the tiny pencil nest to "Mi Mapa" in the map menu > Type or copy and paste any language or emoji into the upper box > Do the same in the lower box for a subtext or decide to leave it blank > Press Save > Tap the x to close the window.
Find a place to eat: Open the blue “Comida” pin index. All restaurants that are currently open will be bordered in green at the top of the list in alphabetical order. All restaurants currently closed will be at the bottom of the list in alphabetical order. If any information is incorrect drop a pin and write a note.
Find the current moon phase: Tap the "l" luna button and reveal a beautiful gif of the moon. Displayed also are accurate locations of the sun and moon shown as altitude and azimuth and the percentage lit of the moon > Press "esta noche" and the gif will stop to show the current phase of the moon.
Measure any distance: Tap the “m” measure button. I silhouette of a hand will fill the screen > Pinch zoom and pan the map to place the two locations you are measuring between under the two white points. Tap one of the two white points to lock it to its location. You can also enter coordinates for either of the two points for exact measurements.
Galería del Pueblo: Open the purple “Arte” pin index > Open the pin “Museo de Cozumel” > Press “Go to Pin” > Press the white button that appears.
Every map has its own museum that you may fill with art. Please get permission from the artist or use art in the public domain.
Move a finger on the left side of the screen to walk around and move a finger on the right side of the screen to look around. Tap a work of art to focus on it. Pan or zoom in or out as much as you want.
Tap the title card to reveal its details and options. You may add art from any other museum to your own museum through these revealed options on the title card. You will be shown a template map in order to choose where in your museum you would like to place the art.
Only in the Galería del Pueblo, you may choose to reveal your presence and your name by pressing the purple text “aparecer” and “nombre”. You can then see yourself as a purple orb in the mirror and other users in the museum can see you as long as you are not obstructing a work of art.
Tap the wall to unfocus from a work of art and continue walking around. Return to the map at any time by pressing the white button on the top right.
Go to space: Open the purple “Arte” pin > Open the pin “Planetario de Cozumel Cha’an Ka’an” > Press “Go to Pin” > Press the white button that appears.
Fly around with pinch zoom and rotate by sliding one finger. Choose either the earth, moon or ambos (both) as the center of zoom and fulcrum of rotation. Press the “d” button to see the line of sight to Cozumel of the sun, moon and planets. This will also display their distances and exact locations.
Press the red dot on the earth at Cozumels location. You are now as if on the surface of the earth with the same vantage of the stars as Cozumel. Push the “d” again and see the names and distances of the moon and planets as well as hundreds of stars. Tap the rocket to return to space or return to the map at any time.
8-track drum machine and pattern sequencer: Open the purple “Arte” pin index > Open the pin “Casa de Musica Jubal 421 Music” > Press “Go to Pin” > Press the white button that appears.
Press the “o” button for more information about the beat machine.
Visit the virtual beach library: Open the white “Ayuda” pin index > Open the pin “libros” > Press “Go to Pin” > Press the white button that appears.
It may take a moment to load and it may be important to have good WiFi or internet connection. This feature still works anywhere but if you really want to read and study, it is best on a tablet or computer. Read any book on the shelf, use the beach computer and take notes. Your notes and reading progress will be saved.
Press “+” to create a new note. The first line of any note will become its title. Type @any word in your notes. If that word matches the title of any of your notes, it will create a link to that note.
Request books for the bookshelf: Turn on the beach computer by tapping it > Press the stack of books emoji > browse the provided links of public domain book databases and find anything you want to read or study. Email the developer or catch flower on pingPong to request the book.
Chat on pingPong: Turn on the beach computer by tapping it > scroll down and press the blue “pingPong” link > Sign up by choosing a username and password > If you want, send a request to “flower”. You are only able to chat if both parties are online making it a healthy and comfortable chatting experience.
Location / directions feature: Tap the arrow button above the lmnop buttons > Toggle on the bottom right toggle > close the assurance page. You will now have a pointing marker at your location on the map. Press any pin you want as your destination > Press “Marcar como destino”. The location marker will now point to that pin and display it’s distance as you travel. It was designed to encourage exploration so it is most useful if you are walking or on a bicycle.
Plot / Record a route: Press the arrow button > toggle the location feature on > Press the little runner icon > Press the green “Trazar” button to plot a course by touching the map to drop numbered orange pins > Press “Terminar” / Press the red “Grabar” button to record a route with your movement > Press “End”.
You may title your routes by pressing the tiny pencil. You may share your routes with the community by checking the box to do so. If you check next to a route and then press “Grabar” to record, the location marker will point to each waypoint in the route and display its distance. Check next to two or more routes and it will display the total distance and average speed of the selected routes.
